Christmas came early this year :-)

All the correct pressings seems to be there. At some point i was conserned when looking at photos at thesamba. Had Gerson mixed up some details on the floor pans?? I am glad the answer is no :-)

Funky green panels!

Looking forward to open these huge boxes :-) Thank you Gerson for making such great panels.
Fenders, heater channels (not mine) and split floor pans are just waiting to be opened!

Mud flaps with solid vw logo

For many years i only had one of these riveted mud flaps. At SCC i found a pair! Great piece of Norwegian VW history from the fifties. I've seen old photos of 53 or 54 beetles with these on them. They can also be found among the accessories in the adds from the fifties here in Norway. Maybe the alu was made in Germany and riveted with Norwegian rubber???

Pictures from SCC 2012

Here are some of the things i found interessting at SCC this year. A new interior made by Marcus Raeke in Germany (The beetle key guy), and my former double ribbed split bumper. Its amazing how nice it has tured out after a trip to Poland:-) Both Pictures from the same car... A part from that it was lots of old used and NOS parts for sale this year. 4 tons of parts - all from the same guy -  was really something.

Pressed decklid 47-49 beetle

Recently found this decklid by accident at my fathers neighbour. What is the odds of that!
Its been hanging on the old guys garage for almost 40 years just waiting to be found.
From the backside it looks like it was originally black. The popes nose is also without rivets so i believe its from a 49 beetle. First thing that crossed my mind was of course - where is the rest of the car??..

I have no use for it myself. Only bought it because it can change hands if it in some sort of way can help the split convertible with funds or parts. So, if your interessted don't hesitate to contact me. Most of all I would like to trade (+/- money) for split and split convertible parts. I especially need pre 55 floor pans, pre 52 front fenders, pre 52 rear view mirror for convertible or maybe some cool split-only accessories.

Pre 55 rear seat

Found this pre 55 rear seat today. One of the best original Karmann parts I've found so far with OG fabrics and cardbord. Thank you K!!

If anyone out there got the bottom piece, please let me know :-)
